How to measure yourself

A soft tape, a mirror, two minutes.

Measure over a thin t-shirt or underwear. Keep the tape level and snug, not tight.

Chest

Around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, with the tape level across the back.

Waist

Around your natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso, usually just above the navel.

Hips

Around the fullest part of the hips and seat, standing with feet together.

Shoulder

Across the back, from the edge of one shoulder bone to the other. Easiest with someone helping.

Sleeve

From the shoulder point, down the outside of a slightly bent arm, to the wrist bone.

Inseam · trousers

From the crotch seam down the inside leg to where you want the hem. Best taken from trousers you own.
