A guide to the new season

What is arriving, how suede and croc-embossed leather differ, and how ordering and sizing work for new pieces.

What's in the new drop

This season is mostly about women's suede: a trucker called The Ranch, brown and black suede bikers, two cropped styles and a black moto with a belted hem. Alongside them come croc-embossed pieces in new shapes, a black biker with star studs, and a brown suede belted biker for men. Each piece appears in this collection as it is released.

Suede explained

Suede comes from the inner side of the hide, which is buffed to raise a fine nap. That gives it a soft, matt surface and a supple feel from the first wear. It is still real leather, just finished differently. The trade-off is that it marks and darkens more easily than smooth leather, so it rewards a little extra care.

How to style suede

Suede looks best with simple textures around it. Try a brown suede trucker with denim and a white T-shirt, or a black suede biker over a fine knit and tailored trousers. Cropped suede jackets suit high-waisted jeans and midi skirts. Keep accessories in plain leather rather than more suede, and save suede for dry days when you can.

Croc-embossed pieces

The new burgundy blazer, burgundy trench coat and black maxi skirt use croc-embossed leather: real leather pressed with a crocodile scale pattern. It adds texture without using exotic skins, and it pairs well with plain pieces. A croc-embossed skirt with a smooth black jacket, or a croc blazer over a simple knit, keeps the look balanced.

Women's new arrivals run from XS to XXL and men's from S to XXL. Compare your measurements with the size guide before choosing. Cropped and belted styles are worth checking carefully for length. If you fall between sizes, made to measure costs nothing extra: send shoulder, sleeve, chest or bust and length measurements, and we work from those.

The new season drop is being released now, and it leans towards suede and croc-embossed leather. As with everything we make, each piece is real leather or real suede and made to order after you buy it, in a standard size or to your own measurements at no extra cost. Below is what is arriving, plus pieces you can already order from the full jackets collection.

What's in the new drop

  • Women's suede jackets: a brown suede trucker called The Ranch, a brown suede biker, a black suede biker, a brown suede cropped shirt jacket, a brown suede cropped zip jacket and a black suede moto with a belted hem.
  • Women's croc-embossed leather: a burgundy croc-embossed blazer, a burgundy croc-embossed trench coat and a black croc-embossed maxi skirt, the first piece in our skirts collection.
  • Women's studded biker: a black leather biker finished with star studs.
  • Men's suede: a brown suede belted biker jacket.

Why suede this season

Suede is the inner side of the hide, buffed to a soft, velvety nap. It shows warm browns particularly well and gives a jacket a softer, more relaxed character than smooth leather. If you want suede today, the dark brown suede biker and the brown suede trucker are already available.

Croc-embossed leather in new shapes

Croc-embossed leather is real leather pressed with a scale pattern. We already use it on cropped bikers and collarless jackets; the new pieces bring it to a blazer, a trench coat and a skirt. Already available are the burgundy belted croc biker, the black collarless croc jacket with gold buttons and the chocolate brown croc cropped biker.

Made to order timing
